Accelerate is backed with $300 million by New York-based private equity firm Pine Brook Partners, and after 150 acquisitions Accelerate built a portfolio that is in the top 7%, by well results, in the country. During his tenure, Patrick led Accelerate through two of the worst oil price crashes in a generation, and experienced negative oil prices for the first time in history. He successfully negotiated an additional $100 million in capital during this time, and lead Accelerate to be one of the few energy companies that was cashflow positive in 2020.
